Why Leonova Diamond?
Leonova Diamond is the top-tier instrument for route-based condition monitoring programmes. With synchronous measurement, enveloping, true zoom and spectrum resolution up to 25,600 lines across DC–40 kHz, it offers full vibration analysis capacity. The broadband evaluation tables of ISO 10816 for velocity, acceleration and displacement are built into the instrument.
Always included

Balancing and alignment
For single and dual plane rotor balancing, a graphical guide calculates balancing weights and their positions. Shaft alignment uses a modulated line laser beam and high-precision inclinometers; because the angle of rotation of both detector units is measured continuously, measurement runs in fully automatic mode with much less than half a turn of the shaft. Results are displayed in hundredths of a millimetre.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Leonova Diamond and Leonova Emerald?expand_more
Leonova Diamond measures vibration on three channels simultaneously, offers resolution up to 25,600 lines across DC–40 kHz, and supports dual plane balancing and laser shaft alignment. Leonova Emerald is single-channel, reaches 12,800 lines across DC–20 kHz, and performs single plane balancing only. Orbit analysis, shaft centreline plotting and 3-channel simultaneous measurement are available only on Diamond. Emerald is the more economical choice for programmes focused on route measurement and bearing monitoring.
Why does SPM HD technology help at very low speeds?expand_more
Conventional vibration measurement detects bearing damage late at low speeds because the energy produced is very small. SPM HD amplifies the high-frequency shock waves generated by bearing surface contacts through order-synchronous sampling and digital signal processing. This makes it possible to detect damage months in advance on wind turbine main bearings, rotary kilns and heavy mixers running at speeds as low as 0.1 rpm.
