Intellinova® Parallel EN

A powerful measuring unit for continuous monitoring of machine condition. By connecting four channels in parallel to one digital signal processor, it performs simultaneous vibration and shock pulse measurement on complex applications, communicating with Condmaster Ruby over standard Ethernet.

Highlights

  • 4, 8, 16 or 32 parallel measuring channels
  • DC – 40 kHz, spectrum up to 25,600 lines
  • SPM HD, LR/HR HD, HD ENV, EVAM and orbit analysis
  • Digital I/O and analog inputs for process parameters
  • 1000 Mbps Ethernet TCP/IP, optional Wi-Fi and 4G

The unit is equipped with parallel measuring logic, alarm, storing and analysis logic. Two digital inputs and two digital outputs can be connected to machine stop, alarm light or other external devices, directly or via external relays. Two analog inputs accept process parameters.

Group Measurement enables a measurement assignment to trigger multiple system units. The Live View in Condmaster Ruby monitors the state of all connected devices from one screen. Both vibration and shock pulse measurements can be performed using DuoTech® accelerometers.

Frequently asked questions

On which machines does continuous monitoring pay off?

Continuous monitoring pays off on equipment where downtime is expensive, or where periodic access to the measuring point is difficult or hazardous. Typical examples are paper machines, cement rotary kilns and mills, main fans and compressors, wind turbine gearboxes, blast furnace blowers and process pumps without a standby. When the hourly cost of downtime is several times the system investment, payback is usually under a year.
