The Ex version of the SLD1xx series: the same measuring performance with explosive-atmosphere approval. It connects directly to IS instruments with matching IS parameters; connection to non-certified equipment is made through a suitable Ex barrier (e.g. SPM 17310).

The housing and base are stainless acid-proof steel, suitable for aggressive environments. The transducer is installed on a flat machine surface and connected with a twisted pair cable using a 2-pin MIL-C-5015 connector. Mechanical fastening uses mounting studs with M6, M8, M10 or UNF 1/4" thread.
SLD244 has top entry and offers an optional temperature measurement: used with Intellinova Parallel EN it measures −20 to +120 °C with ±4 °C accuracy. Measurement is performed above 10 kHz, where it does not interfere with the acceleration signal.
SLD244S has side entry and a captured bolt for installation.
The two models differ in Ex marking and temperature limits; choose according to the installation zone.
