A battery-powered wireless sensor designed to monitor machine vibration in areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere. It measures triaxial vibration and temperature, and because it needs no cabling it suits machines that are hard to reach or risky to approach. ATEX and IECEx certified.

The sensor performs a user-defined number of measurements per day. The MEMS-type sensor with digital output warns of vibration-related problems on standard production equipment such as pumps and fans — imbalance, misalignment, impeller and fan blade issues, resonance and cavitation, as well as gear and bearing faults.
Thanks to the battery technology and careful design, four-year battery life is achieved at four measurements a day under ideal conditions. The battery is replaceable; only SPM 18425 may be used.
The SPM Connect app configures the parameters required to connect to Condmaster Entity Server (CES) or SPM Cloud: search for the sensor over Bluetooth, verify the server connection and complete Wi-Fi setup. Only certified mobile devices may be used in Ex hazardous areas.
The sensor works with both the cloud-based Condmaster.NET and the Condmaster Ruby analysis software.
